The cosy ambience and relaxed atmosphere made for a really enjoyable lunch. The courteous restaurant staff warmly welcome you, making you feel at home. Recommended to enjoy local food of excellent quality and abundance.

On the suggestion of friends who frequent this agriturismo, I booked a dinner and the kindness was perceived right from the first contact. We tasted excellent and plentiful dishes - prepared with raw materials from their own production - skilfully cooked, laid out and served. The bill was really honest, the value for money excellent. The owners are friendly and smiling, and the post-dinner chat was very pleasant. It was an absolutely positive experience and certainly worth repeating.

Authentic agriturismo where we stayed with half board. Excellent home cooking by Delfina, who uses ingredients grown and/or gathered in the woods by Marco and Giuliano. Chestnuts, mushrooms, honey from their bees and many other natural and organic products. You sleep in a nearby, recently renovated farmhouse in absolute peace and quiet. We had a wonderful time. Excellent food and very pleasant company.

Home cooking and genuine! Generous portions. The bulk wine was also good: bonarda amabile. The owner, with whom we chatted, was very friendly and helpful. We had starters and 2 first courses (ravioli and risotto with pumpkin and mushrooms). Skipped the main courses. Finished with chestnut flour cake accompanied by bitter orange marmalade, strictly local. Coffee and nocino. The price was more than honest.

A very cosy and simple farmhouse where the food is plentiful and typically Ligurian. Here you can taste the famous 'baciocca', a savoury pie made of potatoes and béchamel, a typical dish of Borzonasca. Also, lasagne with mushrooms and trofie made with chestnut flour and pesto, with potatoes and green beans like the ones my grandmother used to make. Special mention must go to the two ladies in the kitchen: the very good cook and her cousin who serves at the tables, very nice, welcoming, very kind, who absolutely debunk the cliché that we Ligurians are rude. Go and eat at O Matte' and you will feel at home!
